Sambal Style Sleep

Sambal Style Sleep – stay, dine and explore | A hostel located in the heart of Bandar Melaka, offering mixed-dormitory and male/female dormitory for travelers, with a cozy cafe and boutique downstairs. I stumbled upon this cafe on a one day trip with Sunah Sakura.

It was a chance encounter. We were on a day trip, for my birthday. It was yet check in time, so we decided to roam the area. We saw this place and decided to have our lunch here. But from that lunch, we ended up staying for 3 hours here, just sitting enjoying the beautiful interior design, sipping our teas and reading the available books.

We ordered nasi lemak ayam and aglio olio spaghetti. I prefer nasi lemak than the aglio olio. The herbal fried chicken is surprisingly delicious despite the plain look. I will want to order it by itself if it is in the menu.

The rarest menu in this cafe is the butterfly pea flowers made into tea and virgin cocktails. Check out their full menu in the photo below. Mind you this was October 2019, maybe the have upgraded their menu since then.
